MY HEART WILL GO ON

What a bitter sweet weekend! Yep, I had tickets to Celine Dion on Friday but she had get sick and reschedule the show for February!!!!

I just wanted to hear her sing "My Heart Will Go On" live! I love the Titanic. Ashley, remember when we went and saw it? Good times!

And to make Friday night even more of a disappointment I saw Twilight... boo is all I'm going to say. I just thought it was going to be so awesome with Catherine Hardwicke directing it (she won directors choice for "Thirteen" at Sundance in 2003). But she wasn't the writer of the script so it's not her fault. Not all movies can be like Lord of The Rings!
The only good thing in Twilight... JAMES AND JASPER, HOT!!
Friday wasn't all that bad. I had lunch with my friend Holly and Cookie at Firehouse Pizza, yum!
Me and Avery (Holly's little girl)
Holly, Quinn, and Cookie! All the kiddos were banana crazy.

Then Cookie, Kolett, Savanah, Whitnee, Emma, and me, took my Mom out for a surprise birthday dinner at Cafe Rio before Twilight. We made her wear a princess crown and everyone at Cafe Rio sang happy birthday to her. It was hilarious. Hence the blurry picture I couldn't stop laughing!
HAPPY 60TH BIRTHDAY MOM! WE LOVE YOU!
Coox and Britt had fun playing dress up with my new yellow wellies!! I'm so excited because now I can look like the Morton Salt Girl during the festival!

A DAY IN THE LIFE

So this is a typical day in my life:

-Wake up at 3:50am
- Be to work at the map place from 4:30am - 8:15am (my cubical below!)

- Leave at 8:15am to catch the carpool at 8:30am
- Be to Sundance in Park City around 9am ish
-Leave PC at 5pm
- Return to the map place around 5:45 pm until 9:15/30pm
-Go home, shower, sleep for 5 ish hours and start the cycle over again!

On Fridays at Sundance we have FUN FRIDAY ACTIVITIES! We made ginger bread houses last friday but they didn't really work because the frosting wasn't thick enough! Oh well, it was still fun.

That's Brent, Kaytee, Emily, Rachel, Noelle, and Laura
Kaytee and Emily
Kaytee's house, which is falling apart slowly!

My house was more of a shark chair raft type thing!

Noelle and Laura are sad theirs are falling apart!Noelle's House
Laura, Brent, Emily, Me, Rachel, and Kaytee

The Ginger Bread Gang!

I usually have Friday nights off unless something fun is happening during the week, and there was last Wednesday! The Hotel Cafe Girls Tour! (of course is a music show). It was awesome!
Lanie and Me! Ha, I think I blinded the kid behind us!!

This is Lenka. Neat instrument! Sorry these pics are blurry, I was far back so I could sit down. I was way to tired to stand!

Kate Havnevik! One of my favs!
Jason, Meiko, Jonnie Flower, some crazy chick and Lenka

Jason, Rachael Yamagata (my favorite), Flower

This is Meiko performing "Reasons to Love You". She reminds me a bit of Cookie if Cookie was a rock star.

Love this song! Rachael Yamagata singing "Elephants".

I don't know if you guys even watch these videos but they are really talented musicians who actually write all their own music and lyrics. So I'm going to keep on sharing the good music with you all! I have more that I'll post later but I have to run!

And that is a typical day in the life of ROSIE!

THE LOST BOYS/VILLAGE PEOPLE

Halloween at Sundance! This is the Volunteer Department and we all dressed up for Halloween. As a group we could either be THE LOST BOYS or THE VILLAGE PEOPLE! I was bedtime pal cookie monster!

Our pumpkin, MIKE WAZOWSKI, won the pumpkin contest!! He looks so awesome!

This weekend Emily, Lanie and I went and saw Matt Nathanson at a meet and greet at Gray Whale then Lanie and I went to his show later that night.
I love watching people sing, they look hillarious!

The first 30 seconds of this video is freakin awesome! This is one of his most requested songs but it's not on the radio. It's called "Wedding Dress". He sings "I want to feel a car crash" and "Come on get Higher" (which is way over played on the radio here!).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COOKIE

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COOKIE!!
OOOOHHH YOUR HOW OLD?? 30!

OOPS, HOW DID THIS PICTURE GET HERE? NICE HAIR AND TOP MODEL POSE!

YAY FOR SISTERS! WE LOVE YA! HAPPY BIRTHDAY
For Cookie's birthday I took her to see JOSHUA RADIN! And since my BFF Britt already posted it on her blog I'm stealing what she wrote (adding in my thoughts on the side)!! It was a surprising night!
"Joshua Radin concert: Wow what a fun concert!! I met up with my best friend Rosie and her sister Cookie and Lanie and we all went to the Joushua Radin concert in SLC. It was just him and his guitar last night which I totally loved because he talked more one on one with the audience. He told us about some history to his songs and now I love them more. Then about half way through he was just strummin his guitar and he got a cute smirk on his face and said "this next song is for my friend Rosie, Rosie where are you?" I started screaming "over here" and pointing to her because she didn't say anything (I think she was in shock! Yep I was shocked because he always acknowledges me at his shows but never that publicly!). We all waved and he proceeded to explain how he knew her and became friends. It was awesome. The one girl standing in front of me stomped her foot and said "that's not fair." Another girl screamed out "no way, Cool!!" Yeah the jealousy claws were flying toward Rosie. Previously he was explaining how each album was about girlfriends in his life and how he has 2 albums, one person in the audience asked if Rosie was going to be the next album and he said "I don't know, Rosie are you my third album?" (I'm leaving that one up to fate!) It was so dang fun! Joshua is Awesome I recommend seeing him in concert."
I got the first hug of the night and Cookie said, "Hey I'm Rosie's sister!" and he replied, "You're Rosie's sister!" and gave Coox a big hug too! She finally believes me that I'm friends with Joshua! Below is my song and of course I didn't capture any of the things he said to me before or after the song! Oh well!
