I'm not going to lie, I'm excited for 2008 to be over! The year started off bad right at the start with my manager quitting on January 2nd, 10 days before the festival! I don't think I slept at all during the month of January. Then I was sick for almost two months after that. Somewhere in between that my roommates cat and Grandpa past away. Followed by some deep dark secrets that surfaced about some of my closest friends. Some I figured and others I wish I'd paid more attention to the signs! My car of 9 years finally broke down and I had to grow up and buy a real one. My best friends Uncle was killed in a horrible horrible motorcycle accident. Then after that I swear every Month (sometimes week) someone else I knew past away! And my Aunts cancer is back for the third time! She had surgery again yesterday. (Please wear sunblock people!! The sun may look nice and warm and pretty and being tan looks all hot and sexy but Melanoma just spreads like wild fire.)
But in between all the weirdness of the year I did have some great times that I have already blogged about!! Except I'm still wishing I had more kit kat sensation candy bars!! Guess I'll just have to go back to Ireland to get some!!
So I'm hoping 2009 will be a better year! At least less emotionally draining anyway! Oh yeah, I don't make New Year's Resolutions, it's a waste of time in my opinion. I make birthday goals every year instead. On my birthday I think of things I want to accomplish that year. I find that it works way better! Except I have yet to eat at a nice sit down restaurant by myself! That's been on the goal list for a very long time. The one year I finally thought I was going muster up the guts to do it, I saw this "Friends" episode when Rachel goes to eat by herself and this cute guy thought she was crazy for eating by herself! Too funny! Speaking of entertainment, my new favorite movie is Surviving Christmas!! So funny! I'm laughing just thinking about it and I'm not even a Ben Affleck fan myself!
On another note, I've actually met a couple of people recently who haven't seen The Lord of The Rings (my favorite!) !! Seriously, I know! What is up with that? I even told some kid I work with not to bother talking to me until he sees the movies! And I think I scared him because he hasn't talked to me since! haha! Well, I don't think I've ever written this much on my blog ever! I'll be posting some Christmas Fun pictures soon, very exciting stuff let me tell you! Nothing like being single during the holidays watching all the nieces and nephews open prestents, couldn't have been funner! Yep, if I were a movie character in a non-fantasy movie, I'd be Iris from The Holiday . That is my life exactly, crazy how that works! Okay, that's enough from me. Awww Iris, I mean Rosie - I hope you have a better year too! I always get nervous for New Year's actually. I cross my fingers that the New Year won't bring any new challenges with it. Doesn't always work, but I try! I hate resolutions too, but I'm at the age where if I don't set any, then I never get anything done. So, I keep them simple - this year it's more calcium in my diet! :) Don't feel bad about xmas day (I was there). Remember that all I got was a letter from Santa telling me to go buy myself some new red sneakers. Hee Hee! :) And, it just occurred to me that you forgot to give me some sweet moolah for your cell phone before I left! Very sneaky... :) Anyway - LOVE YA - and Good Night! Yawn...

I'm so sorry to hear that 2008 sucked, and I'm sorry to hear about your aunt's cancer--my prayers go out to her.
Although I love your new ride, I will definitely miss Kia Aura--we had a lot of good times in that car!

Wow a lot happened in 2008. I am thinking we should plan another trip so we can gaurantee a great moment in 2009 history. Sundance will be better for you this year! Happy New Year and Party hard.
I think I know some of those deep dark secrets and boy do I wish I didn't. I wish we could see you more often. When is sundance over?!
